FAQ's about Product Testing:

How do I sign-up to participate in product testing?
In order to be entered into our database of product advisors, you must first take a 20-30 minute survey so that we may get to know you better.  After completing the survey, we will contact you for an appropriate evaluation.  All personal information (e-mail, phone number, address, etc.) provided will be kept strictly confidential.

How often can I participate in product testing?  
Individuals may participate approximately 3-4 times per year.

What kind of evaluations will I be doing?  
The panels include, but are not limited to; fragrance evaluations, taste tests, cleaning and laundry product evaluations, in-home evaluations, and group conversations.

How long do the evaluations take? 
The time commitment for our tests varies significantly.  The majority of our tests take approximately 30 minutes to an hour to; however, occasionally we will ask you to take a product home for a few weeks.  We will always inform you of the time commitment when scheduling your evaluation, and you will always be able to say no to participating in the test. 

What do I get if I participate?
The incentive for your valuable time and input will vary from test to test, but will never be less than a $25 gift card.  You may also donate your incentive to a Non-Profit Organization of your choice. 

When do the tests take place?
Most evaluations are conducted throughout the week.  Studies take place at various times throughout the day to accommodate different schedules. 

What if I decide I no longer want to participate in product testing?
You are under no obligation to participate in product evaluations. if you have schedule conflicts, you can always decline to participate.  If you wish to be removed from our database of product advisors, you can simply email info@theclc.com or call us at (925) 737-7900.

Fundraising FAQ's: 

How can I sign-up my Non-Profit Organization?
Non-Profit Organizations need to fill out a W-9 (tax exempt) form.  Members from your organization can sign-up for the program by filling out our Registration Survey or sending us an email at info@theclc.com
.  Please advise members to provide a phone number and e-mail address when contacting us.

How often will my organization receive a check?   
We typically pay organizations once a month.   A letter will be attached summarizing the members who have participated, the date of their participation, and the dollar amount earned.
